Project estimates are the starting point before a project is awarded. The vendor stands a chance to competitively differentiate itself through the accuracy and timeliness of submitting the project estimates. The VENDOR must follow these practices –
- The VENDOR must use an automated software solution – Quick FPA – for calculation of project estimates.
- The VENDOR must set QUICK FPA as per the development benchmarks of the CLIENT’s organization to calculate estimates for the project.
- All categories of effort must be estimated by the VENDOR including – development, testing, validation.
The VENDOR must avoid inconsistency of numbers in project estimate and capture minutest implementation details.
The Project estimates submitted by the VENDOR must present an excellent reference point for the project manager, development team and present a clear picture to the CLIENT about the project tasks, delivery and cost
